Boxing first came to the United States in the 1700's and started to become popular in large urban areas in the 1800's. Boxing is a sport in which only the hands are used for striking. A skilled boxer executes a mixture of speed, accuracy, technique, mental toughness & strategical smarts to out match their opponent.
