Emergency Control The Bleed Course
Minutes count! Someone who is severely bleeding can bleed to death in as little as 3 minutes. The national first responder average response time in the USA is 7 minutes. These statistics show how important it is to have the knowledge to help yourself or someone else to attempt to control life threatening bleeding while help is on the way.
A severe bleed could be caused by common situations like vehicle accidents, a bad cut with a kitchen tool while preparing a meal, or an accident with tree cutting or yard working tools. In this world, unfortunately, we also have the risk of being a victim of violence such as knife attacks and active shooters.
